This class teaches the simple steps from start to finish in basic workflows and data completion. This class will cover the software and how it operates, jobsite pre-planning, Control Point visualization, project creation, machine builds, data management, instrument routines, daily workflows, and first-time setup. With the project and basic routines established, the focus will shift to data collection, surface design, and transferring it to the 3DMC software. Class concludes with teaching second day setup, basic 3DMC workflows for MC-Mobile, and basic troubleshooting tasks.

This class is based on the MC-Mobile platform using Pocket 3D version 15 on the Cedar Tablets using an LN series instrument and MC-Mobile 3DMC Software.

Important Licensing Notice: Software licenses are not included with public classes unless the course is delivered in person at a Topcon Solutions training center. For remote or non-training-center classes, attendees must bring access to the required software licenses listed for each course prior to the start of training.


Technical Readiness Requirements: All attendees are expected to have a functional working knowledge of Microsoft Windows and be comfortable navigating files, applications, and basic system settings in a professional desktop environment. Participants must be able to actively operate a computer throughout the class, including using a mouse, keyboard, and standard productivity tools. These courses are instructor-led and hands-on; basic computer proficiency is required to fully engage with the material.
